.... lazy Sunday morning (July 29), meaning i catch up a bit of my work during the quiet morning hours, my son already seated beside me trying to decide what to have for breakfast which he knows mommy will "readily" whip up.... Suddenly, "I'm rich!" Huh? "I have 12,000 pesos." Really? I wish I had that kind of money.... hhmmm.....When asked where the money is, my son promptly answered that the money is safely kept inside his dad's drawer, and quipped, " I have 600 and another 600 'ampao', that totals 12,000."..... reminder to mom - review addition up to thousands place..... I promptly reminded him that he had 1,200 instead of 12,000. "Ok, I got it!..... I'm thinking of what to buy with my money. My birthday is coming soon. I won't spend all the money naman, I'll save some." Sensing that mom was appeased with the idea of his not spending all his money, he then proceeded with his "order" - 1 glass of chocolate milk, sausages and bread....thought for the day - God gives us enough for our needs and enough to save for a rainy day.....but always remember where you keep your "stash" :-D
